Foursquare Checkin Support Added

We have added the ability to check-in to Foursquare from 5D. Just go to your “settings” on the 5D website. Enter you Foursquare password and your mobile phone number. We will add OAuth support later, but wanted to put live ASAP for those asking for it. Once you have linked your Foursquare account simply just check in as normal on 5D. Behind the scenes 5D will look up the venue and check you in via Foursquare. If the venue does not exist in Foursquare it will create the venue (including address data) and check you in. Try it out some and give us feedback.

Entity Infiltrates 500 Cities World Wide

The Entity has obtained enough diamonds in Chandler, AZ to power their transporter. They have now infiltrated over 500 cities world wide and setup camp. They are hungry for more diamonds so they can power their factories to start building weapons!

Entity Needs Purple Diamonds

The Entity needs purple diamonds (SKU BD-300). They crush the diamonds to harvest the purple shards to power their technology. The dust is a by product that they have discovered makes equipment more durable. If you bring them a purple diamond they will crush and process the diamond for you and give you a power shield in return. You can take this shield to one of your properties and drop it to spread the durability and double the defense of your parcel. The defense will double for every shield is dropped . Choose your usage wisely.

The Entity Has Arrived

The Entity has landed in Chandler, AZ near Gangplank. They have begun to setup operations and have displaced Cine and Sage operatives a like. The entity has superior technology and power. They act as the balance of power between the war torn Cine and Sage. Both factions had hoped that they had escaped the policing of the entity by bringing their battle to earth. Both Cine and Sage are encouraged to collect diamonds to help please the Entity.

Mister Shape Sponsored Achievements

We are proud to announce our first “sponsored” achievements. Mister Shape has released a limited edition set of trading cards. There are 10 cards in the set. There is an achievement for picking up 3 unique cards, 6 unique cards or all 10 cards. Once you have 3 cards you can trade them in for a FREE Mister Shape t-shirt. Simply bring your digital cards to Gangplank 325 East Elliot Road in Chandler, AZ or drop a line on the blog letting us know you have completed the achievement and we will mail you a Mister Shape shirt. If you drop the cards they will disappear!

New San Diego Achievements

We have heard from our San Diego players as well as Arizona players that visit San Diego that we were lacking achievements in that neck of the woods. We fixed that tonight unleashing a few key San Diego achievements.

Yelp Reviews Now Showing On Notifications

Notifications for a Parcel now include overall Yelp rating as well as last 3 Yelp reviews. We are playing around with concepts fairly heavily in this area expect more movement in coming weeks. Give us feedback PLEASE.

Name Change Coming Soon!

Why on earth are you changing your name?

The app store is flooded with applications with “Kingdom” in the name.
We own no applicable short code to coincide with “Kingdom”.
“Kingdom” isn’t palatable as a name for our long term business strategies.

While we still very much like the Kingdom name and concept, we think its the right time to change the name based on the three reasons above. Same great game, just a slightly different name. We will be transitioning in the next few weeks.
